In collaboration, the Department of Technology and Mathematical Sciences at PrepaTec and the Business School at Tec de Monterrey, San Luis Potosí campus, developed a financial education application called KUDI.
The creators of this application, Brenda Cruz, a Technology teacher at PrepaTec, and Adriana Valle, Director of the Finance program, stated that this prototype aims to strengthen personal finance knowledge in Mexico.
"Young people no longer learn from books; the application combines gaming with theory so they can acquire knowledge and make correct decisions" said Adriana Valle.
Since its creation, KUDI has won the NOVUS Educational Innovation Funding Initiative awards in 2021 and 2023, as well as an honorable mention from RIE 360 for Educational Innovation in 2023.
Both NOVUS and the Educational Innovation Network 360 (RIE 360) recognize the actions of teachers as drivers of transformation in higher education institutions.
