Dr. Alejandro Guajardo Cuéllar is a professor of Mechanics at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Guadalajara Campus. He is a Mechanical Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí and holds a Master's and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, United States. He has worked as a Thermal Engineer for Philips Lighting in the Netherlands and as a CFD Engineer for Hella in Germany and Mexico, accumulating over five years of international experience in research and development.
Passionate about education and innovation, he is a member of the National System of Researchers and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Group, and actively participates in technology transfer and the review of scientific articles. He dedicates his efforts to fostering creativity and developing competencies in young engineers to face future challenges.
In his latest participation with Novus, he developed the Mixed Reality Platform to Enhance Disciplinary Competence Development in Control Engineering Education, an immersive virtual reality experience that complements experimentation in the physical reality. Learn more about his project:
