Emilia Fernanda Leal Uhlig is passionate about teaching, human flourishing, creative writing, orality and reading. She has a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Master's degree in Humanistic Studies and a specialization in Literature. She has also co-authored the books: “Lee, interpreta ¡vive!”, “Lectura crítica y reflexiva”, “Leer y escribir I, hacia un aprendizaje significativo”, “Leer y escribir II, hacia un aprendizaje significativo”, “El texto literario”, “Clásicos literarios”. Currently, she has participated as co-founder of the literary magazine Fabella, fruit of the NOVUS 2020 project of the Literary Creation and Text Editing Workshop of PrepaTec Eugenio Garza Lagüera, as well as the development of the web platform Lëttëra 1.0 (NOVUS 2020) and 2. 0 (NOVUS 2022), which promotes reading in a playful and self-directed way from the PISA approach, which gave him the opportunity to venture into research, publishing in the digital journal Frontiers in Education the results: “Lëttëra web platform: A game-based learning approach with the use of technology for reading competence”, in 2023. His experience has allowed him to share his findings in various forums such as IFEConference 2024 and 2025, PrepaTec Congress: Extraordinary Practices, IFETalks, Book Fair among others.
She has more than twenty-five years of teaching experience, now as Academic Director of the Letters area at Prepa Tec Eugenio Garza Lagüera, she also participates in the International Baccalaureate, as a teacher, obtaining excellent results, as well as examiner of various evidences. Her passion for human flourishing, has led her to have a perspective based on talents and successes, to enhance the personality of both students and teachers, in order to achieve their own voice, allowing them to achieve their dreams.
